1 lb ground beef
2 onions chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 (18 oz) can tomatoes
1/2 c uncooked rice
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp basil or thyme
strips of cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef, onion, peppers in a little fat - drain and add tomatoes, rice and season. Cover tightly and simmer 30 min or until rice is tender. Top with the cheese slices. Heat until cheese melts.
