Baked Sliced Tomatoes Recipe

2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup bread crumbs
3 tomatoes, sliced thick
2 .tbsp. butter
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Put beatem eggs in one small bowl.
Put breadcrumbs in another small bowl.
Dip each tomato slice in the eggs and then in the breadcrumbs.
Place the tomato slices side-by-side on a greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Dot the tops of tomatoes with butter.
Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese and paprika.
Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
