8 slices bread, cubed
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
2 lbs sausage, brown & drain
4 eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups milk
3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 can cream mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread cubes in greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with cheese, add browned sausage. Blend eggs, 2 1/2 cups milk, & mustard, pour over ingredients in pan. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.

Next Morning: Blend soup & 1/2 cup milk; pour over casserole. Bake uncovered 1 1/2 hours at 300º.

Reheat leftovers in microwave.

Note: I only use 1 pound of sausage. Sometimes I add a can of mild green chilies & I usually use white bread.

This is truly a family favorite for Christmas morning or when the guys go deer hunting. Anytime you need a good, hearty breakfast that you can prepare ahead. Requires someone to get up early and put it in the oven - but they'll love you for it!
