VERSION I (Original)


Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 stick Butter- melted
1 C. Onion- chopped
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
16 oz. Sour Cream
2 lb. bag Frozen Hash Browns
2 C. Cheddar Cheese- grated
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Red Bell Pepper- chopped (opt)
Potato Chips
Paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw hash browns for at least 30 minutes before assembling.

Combine all ingredients (except potato chips and paprika). Put in 9" x 13" casserole dish coated with cooking spray. Top with crushed potato chips and paprika.

Bake at 375 º for 1 hour.
 

VERSION II (Low Fat Version)


Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 lbs. bag Frozen Hash Browns
16 oz. Fat-free Sour Cream
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Pepper
Fat-free Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Onion- chopped
1 Red Bell Pepper- chopped (opt)
1 C. Corn Flakes- crumbled
8 oz. Fat-free Cheddar Cheese- grated
1/4 C. Smart Beat Light Margarine- melted
1/8 C. Smart Beat Light Margarine- melted

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw hash browns for at least 30 minutes before assembling.

Combine all ingredients (except corn flakes and 1/8 cup margarine). Spray a 9" X 13" baking dish with cooking spray. Spread hash browns mixture into baking dish.

Sprinkle with corn flakes and drizzle 1/8 cup of melted margarine on top. Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
