1 lb. ground beef
cup rice, washed
cup chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
tsp. pepper
2 tbs. vegetable oil
1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix beef, rice, onion, and seasonings. Form into small balls. Cook in hot oil in pan, turning frequently, until light brown but not crusty on all sides. Add tomato sauce and water. Mix well. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
