Frosted Brownies Recipe

Brownies:
1 c shortening
1/2 c cocoa
1 1/2 flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 eggs
2 c sugar
1 c vanilla
1 c nuts (optional)


White frosting:
1/4 c butter
2 c conf sugar
2 tbsp cream
1 tsp vanilla

Chocolate frosting:
3 tbsp cocoa
1/2 tbsp shortening
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake ingredients together and bake at 350º for 35 minutes.

Frosting:
Melt butter over medium heat, blend in sugar, cream, and vanilla. Frost cooled brownies. Melt shortening and mix in cocoa. Spread on top of white frosting.
