1 can (14-1/2 oz) green asparagus spears
2 T margarine or butter
2 T cornstarch
1 tsp salt
Pinch Pepper
1-2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 can (6-1/2 oz) tuna
4 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
1 cup crushed potato chips

Directions:
Directions:
Drain asparagus, reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Melt margarine or butter in saucepan. Add cornstarch, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat til bubbly. Add asparagus liquid and milk. Stir until smooth and thick. Add cheese. Remove from heat and mix well. Then grease a 2-qt casserole and put a layer of tuna, a layer of asparagus and a layer of egg slices. Pour the rest of the sauce over the top and cover with crushed potato chips. Bake 35 minutes at 350F.
