Part 1. Mix like pie crust

Flour 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Water 1 Tlb.

Spread on cookie sheet in two 3" strips

Part 2.

Water 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup

Heat together Just to boiling, then quickly add 1 cup flour, ( this should look like mashed potatoes) Stir until smooth. Beat in 3 eggs one at a time. Add 2 1/2 tsp almond flavoring. Put on top of part 1. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Let cool with oven door ajar.
Frost with butter icing, butter, powder sugar and almond flavoring.
