Checking cabbage for bugs: put whole cabbage in freezer for 48 hours. defrost on counter or in cold water.Rinse both sides.Agitate in water. No need to check further.

Meat mixture:
2 lb ground beef
1/3 c raw rice
1 lrg grated onion
1 egg
¼ c matzah meal/ breadcrumbs/oatmeal
Can put in some sauce mixture or ketchup

Sauce:
2 (29 oz) tomatoe sauce
4 Tbs lemon juice
1 c sugar
½ c br sugar
Handful of raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Use two extra deep 9x13 tins
Make balls and wrap in cabbage.Put in tin with sauce.
Bake 3-4 hrs covered on 350
Makes about 30
