3 cups sugar
3 cups raw peanuts
2/3 cup white Karo syrup
1 cup evaporated milk
2 tbsp margarine
Red food coloring
1 tsp vanilla

Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a deep pan; cook on low heat; stir constantly.
Cook to a soft ball stage (you will need a candy thermometer)
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Beat with a wooden spoon until creamy.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and allow to set up.
Will keep in a sealed container.
