1 cup raisins
1 cup water
1/3 cup shortening
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup sugar

2 cups flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Boil first seven ingredients until bubbly. Add to dry mixture and bake in a 9X13 greased pan at 325 for 15 to 20 minutes. Frost.
