2 pounds lean stew meat
1 can mushroom soup
1/2 package onion soup
1/2 to 1/3 cup cup red wine
3/4 pound fresh mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon pepper
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cube beef, place in casserole, salt and pepper meat. Pour mushroom soup over meat, sprinkle with onion soup mix. Bake at 225 for 2 1/2 hours. Stir mixture. Bake another hour. Blend in mushrooms and wine and bake additional 1/2 to 1 hour. Serve over rice.
