Florida Strawberry Pizza Recipe

1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 cup margarine
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
(can also use pastry crust)

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
9 oz. container whipped topping
3/4 cup powdered sugar

3 oz. pkg strawberry gelatin
1 cup water or strawberry juice
4 cups sliced strawberries
dash of salt
4 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar

CRUST: Mix all crust ingredients; spread in pizza pan; bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees; cool.

FILLING: Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar; fold in whipped topping; spread over cooled crust.

TOPPING: Mix gelatin, sugar, salt and 1/2 cup water or strawberry juice; dissolve corn starch and other 1/2 cup water or strawberry juice; stir into gelatin mixture; cook until thickened; add strawberries; cool. Spread on top of cream cheese layer; chill well.
