Red Velvet Cake Recipe

2 c sugar
1 1/4 c salad oil
2 eggs
1 t vinegar
1 c buttermilk
1 1/2 oz red food color
2 1/4 c self rising flour
1 T coco
1 T vanilla
1 stick soft butter
8 oz cream cheese soft
1 t vanilla
1 box confection sugar
1/2 oz red food color
1 c chopped nuts

Cream sugar, oil, egg, vinegar, food coloring, coco,and vanilla. Gradually add flour and milk. Grease 2 9" round pans. Bake 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Mix all frosting ingredients and frost cooled cake.
