Scald 11/4 c. milk
stir in 21/2 T. sugar
1 1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c warm water
2 pkg. yeast
3 1/4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
cool to lukewarm, measure into bowl, warm water
sprinkle or crumble in yeast. stir until dissolved add warm milk mixture stir in flour, stir only enough
to dampen flour. flour well-greased muffin pans 1/2 full cover let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk
about 35 min.
bake in hot oven 425 for about 20 min.
remove from pan while still warm
