1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 c. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 c. and 2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Add 2 eggs slightly beaten to mixed butter, white sugar, powdered sugar. Then add 1 c. cooking oil and 1 tbsp. vanilla. Sift together 4 cups and 2 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. cream of tartar and 1 tsp salt. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Press slightly with glass dipped in granulated sugar. Bake in moderate oven until light brown which is 8-11 minutes at 350 degrees.

Drop Sugar Cookies – Josephine Guier (my Great-Aunt who is 101 years young!!!) – per my mom, “the best sugar cookies you’ve ever had in life.” They melt in your mouth. Delicious!
