1 cup water
1 cup sugar
9 cups orange juice
3 cups grapefruit juice
1 cup lime juice
1 quart of gingerale oe champagne

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Place over heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a boil; let simmer 5 minutes without stirring.
Add juices.
Just before serving add the ginger ale or champagne.

This is an old Southern recipe used at wedding receptions or large parties, served from a fancy punch bowl with those glass cups we all collected to share among friends.
You can make the juices with frozen concentrate if not in season.
