Ingredients:  
2 1/2 lbs flour
1 c sugar
3 eggs
1/4 lbs butter
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla or anise

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift together dry ingredients
2. Add remaining ingredients and combine thoroughly by hand
3. Divide dough into two equal parts
4. Shape each part into a loaf shape, no greater than one inch in height
5. Place on cookie sheet
6. Bake in a 350º oven for approximately 20 minutes until golden
7. Remove from oven and allow to slightly cool
8. Cut into slices and place back on the cookie sheet
9. Bake until browned

Aunt Molly, my father's aunt, was meticulous in making these into perfect small biscuits. Me, I am not that good at making them but they are delicious none the less!
