2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups raw peanuts
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon soda
7 ounces of raw coconut

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, syrup and water in heavy saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
2. Add in salt, and peanuts. Cook mixture, stirring occasionally, to hard crack stage (or 295º on candy thermometer)
3. Add in butter, vanilla and soda.
4. Stir in coconut
5. Pour mixture onto two buttered cookie sheets.
6. While warm, pull out to desired thickness.
7. When cold, crack into pieces.
