Ingredients:
3 Egg Yolks
1 cup Whipping Cream
7/8 cup Sugar
3 cups Butter
6 1/8 cups Flour
1 tsp Cardamom (ground)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together egg yolks, sugar, cream and cardamom. Sift in half the flour a little at a time.
Put the remainder of flour on counter and place dough on top. Roll dough out to a thick flap and spread lumps of butter across the dough. Fold over and roll out once more. Roll up and chill for 24 hours.
Roll out thin and use a cardboard pattern the size of the goro iron; trace and cut cookies from the pattern.
Bake in HOT goro iron until a light golden color. Separate while still hot.

Borrowed from Ekte Norsk Mat by Astrid Karlsen Scott

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Because there is so much butter in the dough you will need paper towels to mop up the grease.
