2 Lbs pickling cucumbers ( 3 - 4 ")
2 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 Tbsp plus 1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sweet pickling spice blend

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers and drain. Cut of the blossom end and slice the cukes into 1/2 inch slices. Pack the slices in pint jars to 1/2 inch of the rim.
Combine the vinegar, water, salt, sugar and seasoning in a large stainless pot. Bring to a boil stirring to dissolve ingredients and remove from heat and allow to cool.
Pour the liquid over the packed cucumbers and remove air bubbles. cover the jars and label. Place in the refrigerator. Pickles are ready to eat in 24 hours.
Note if more liquid is needed to cover the cucumbers add mix of 3 part vinegar to 1 part water.
