4 large egg yolks
4 oz Lyles golden syrup
1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
4 tbsp softened butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
1.5 cups pecan halves
9 inch pie crust baked

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 350º

Arrange pecan halves in bottom of crust or you may mix into filling

In heavv saucepan, combine syrup sugar, butter , cream and salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickens slightly or reaches 160 degrees. Do not boil . about 7 minutes .
Pour into bowl , add vanilla and stir. Slowly pour over pecans. Bake 20 minutes or until filling is puffed and golden.
