12 large tomatoes
2 large green peppers
2 large onions
2 cups sugar
2 cups vinegar
2 Tablespoons salt

Directions:

1. Peel and cut up tomatoes.
2. Wash and chop peppers and peeled onions.
3. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 2 hours.
4. Pack into hot, sterilized jars; These seal at once.

Makes 3 pints

Unspiced, tangy sweet-sour sauce that is perfect teammate for beef. I have baked many roasts that I covered with a pint of this sauce.
