1 C milk
2 T butter
1 egg
2 T sugar
1 tsp salt
3-3 1/4 C all-purpose flour
2 tsp rapid or quick yeast
oil for deep frying

Directions:
Put into bread machine on the pizza dough setting. Remove dough from the bread machine upon completion of the dough cycle. Roll dough into lg rectangle on a lightly floured work surface to prevent sticking. Fold dough in half and roll out into another large rectangle. With a sharp knife or pizza wheel, cut dough into small rectangles and then in half to make 2 triangles (or other desired shape). Fry 2 at a time for 1-2 min. On each side in a full (4- C) deep fat fryer. They should puff up and are done when lightly golden in color...

This favorite Mexican sweet roll may be enjoyed with a meal or for dessert. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or confectioner's sugar or eat with honey. The softer the dough, the lighter the sopaipilla, so take care when adding the flour. Same dough may be used for (Mrs. Lady's ) Insane Taco Shell as for the Sop's
