4 cups mixed good quality nuts
(I use 2 cups mixed nuts + 1 cup whole pecans + 1 cup whole almonds)

1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp salt
6 TB brown sugar
4 TB butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix spices with brown sugar, set aside.

Toast nuts in large skillet, stirring frequently.

Lower heat, add butter to coat nuts, then add spices,
stirring often to coat nuts.

Remove from heat and transfer to baking sheet lined with nonstick foil.

Let nuts cool for several hours until the coating has hardened.

Store in airtight container.

I make this every year and hand out bags as a Christmas goodie bag.
They have just the right amount of sweet and just a little heat!
