4 c. chicken broth
2-3 large carrots, scraped & diced
4 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
1 onion, diced
2 c. broccoli, cut small

3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
3-1/2 c. milk
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic pepper

6 slices bacon, cook & crumbled - garnish

Directions:
Directions:
In a large pot combine broth, carrots, potatoes & onion. Bring to a boil, cover & simmer for about 10 minutes. Add broccoli, cover & simmer for an additional 10 minutes.

While simmering, melt butter in a large sauce pan. Whisk in the flour & cook for another minute. Whisk in milk & cook until the sauce thickens. Add cheese & stir until it is all melted. Add salt (optional) & garlic pepper.

Pour cheese sauce into the large pot & stir until well combined.

Top with bacon pieces.
