Mom's Meatloaf Recipe

2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk
2/3 cup finely crushed saltines
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon Worchershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl beat eggs.

Add milk, saltines, onion, salt, sage and pepper.

Add beef and mix well. Shape into a 8 1/2 by 4 1/2 loaf and place in an ungreased shallow baking pan.

Combine remaining ingredients and spread 3/4 cup over meat loaf.

Bake at 350º for 60-65 minutes or until no pink remains. Drain.

Let stand 10 min before slicing. Serve with remaining sauce.

We found this recipe called "Mom's Meatloaf" but we are not certain who the mom is referenced as we don't believe it's Ruth. It may be Grandma Hedgepeth or Ruby Hedgepeth's mom. Either way, "mom's meatloaf" sounds good!
