2 1/2 c water
1 1/2 c brown sugar divided
1/2 c milk
1 c flour
1/4 c margarine
Second Amount
1/3 c margarine
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c walnuts
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine water and one cup of brown sugar and 1/4 c margarine and boil for five minutes. Cream 1/3 c margarine and 1/2 c brown sugar. Add flour, baking powder and pinch of salt alternately with milk. Fold in raisins and nuts. Pour sauce into a baking dish and spoon batter mixture on top of sauce and bake at 350ºF for 45 min. Serve hot with a blob of whipped cream.
