1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup almonds or walnuts
1/2 cup each red and green cherries
1 cup currants or raisins

Directions:

Mix in order given. Roll and chill in fridge. Slice and bake in a moderate oven (350) until golden.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes and keep checking them. No time was given for baking them.
