4 teas. baking powder
1/2 teas. salt
1 egg,beaten
2 Tbl. butter
1/2 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour,baking powder and salt. Stir in beaten egg and melted butter. Add enough milk to make a moderately stiff batter. Drop from spoon into biling broth. Cover kettle tightly and cook without lifting lid for 20 minutes.
