1 1/4 cups warm water 100º to 110º)
2 TBSP (or envelopes) of active dry yeast
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup warm milk
1/3 cup butter softened
1 1/2 tsp salt
51/2 to 6 cups all purpose flour
2 large eggs.

Place all ingredients starting with the smaller amount of flour in a large bowl and beat with a dough hook. Beat for about 2 minutes until completely mixed and dough forms. Add flour just until soft dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic about 8 to 10 minutes. Place dough in a greased bowl turn to grease top and let rest 20 minutes
Punch dough down. Shape into desires shape for dinner rolls. For crescent shape divide dough into 2 and roll each half into a 14 inch circle. Cut into 12 pie shaped wedges. Roll up tightly from the wide end curve ends slightly to form crescent. At this point you can freeze the shaped dough in the freezer or allow to raise until doubled about 1 hour and bake 350º for 15 minutes or until done.
