Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I remember my Aunt Chris making this cake when we would visit her in the 1970's. It was my favorite dessert that she made. I (Christina "Christy" Warnecke, Chris's niece) really looked forward to it. I was actually named after her. Mom didn't realize Aunt Chris's given name was Chrystal so she named me Christina.

Chrystal is the wife of Nelson Warnecke, one of George and Agnes Warnecke (Henken's) 16 children. Her recipe was submitted by their daughters, Beth Ann Koesterer nee Warnecke and Emily Sturdevant nee Warnecke.
