1 cup flour
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 (16 oz) can fruit cocktail
1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease 9x9 inch square baking pan. Combine flour, sugar, egg, baking soda, vanilla, and undrained fruit cocktail. Mix until blended; pour into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes or until golden brown.

I call this Wait and See Cake because when Mom made it when I was little and I asked her what she was making she said "Wait and See"!
She topped it with a dollop of Cool Whip. SO GOOD!
