1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Cups Warm Applesauce
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/4 tsp Cloves
1/4 tsp Ginger
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
Raisins and/or Nuts as desired
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugar

And eggs and mix well

Mix in applesauce and spices

Stir in flour and baking powder 1 cup at a time

If desired add raisins and nuts.

Bake at 350 until done
