2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 eggs lightly beaten
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
2 tsp orange zest ( optional)
1/3 cup butter melted
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

spray and flour 9x5 loaf pan
Pre heat oven to 350º
sift dry ingredients together. Add pecans to dry ingredients
In a separate bowl. beat eggs with milk, orange juice and zest. Blend in butter. Pour liquids into dry ingredients stirring until barely moistened. Fold in blueberries.
Bake 55-65 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick clean
Cool 10 minutes in pain before unmolding onto rack to cool.

This was a Sunday NY Times recipe that I modified to leave out nutmeg (1/4 tsp)
I sometimes add glaze.
