2 c. cooked rice
2 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. seedless raisins - optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly, add salt and sugar. Scold the milk and pour gradually onto the egg mixture. Cook in double broiler and when mixture begins to thicken, add the rice, preferably warm. Continue cooking until custard mixture coats the spoon. Add vanilla and cool.
*if raisins are used, heat them with the milk
