3/4 pond salt pork or smoked pork shoulder
3 qt water
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
3 (16 oz) bags frozen collard or turnip greens

Directions:
Directions:
1. Slice salt pork at 1/4-inch intervals, cutting to, but no through, the skin
2. Bring salt pork, 3 qt water, and pepper to a boil in a large Dutch oven. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour.
3. Add greens and cook 20 minutes or until tender. Serve using a slotted spoon.
