4 large Granny Smith or Rome apples
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/2 c firmly packed dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c half and half
Directions:
Directions:
1. Core apples, cutting but not through bottom ends; arrange in a lightly greased 9 inch square baking dish.
2. Stir together pecans, brown sugar, and salt; spoon into apples.
3. Bake, covered, at 375º for 45 minutes; uncover and bake another 15 minutes. Serve warm.
