French Toast Recipe

2 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
4-5 slices day-old bread
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs slightly in a shallow bowl. Add salt, milk, sugar and cinnamon. Stir well. Melt 1 Tbsp. butter in skillet over low heat. Add more butter as needed. Dip each slice of bread into egg mixture. Coat both sides. Cook in skillet on one side, then turn. Serve with warm syrup or jelly or sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
