1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 slightly beaten egg
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
1 1/4 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup evaporated milk
2 beaten eggs
1/4 cup each brown and white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp.each salt and nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 T. butter, softened
2 T. flour
2 T. brown sugar

Directions:

Beat first four ingredients together in small mixing bowl until smooth. Chill for 60 minutes. Turn into prepared pie shell. Combine pumpkin, milk, 2 eggs, sugars, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Carefully pour over cream cheese mixture. Cover edge of pie with foil and bake in a 350º oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake 25 minutes more. Meanwhile, combine pecans, butter, flour and remaining 2 T. brown sugar. Sprinkle over the pie and bake 10 to 15 minutes more until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
