3/4 lb. beef stew meat
1/4 c. onions
1 c. mini carrots
1 c. potatoes, cut
1 - 2 T. kitchen bouquet
Salt
Pepper
1 qt. water

Knephies:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cream
Warm tap water
Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown stew meat and onion on stove. Season with salt and pepper. Steam well on medium heat with lid on. Meanwhile, in bowl, pour cream over flour and salt. Add enough warm water to make a soft, not sticky, dough. Knead well. Let sit.

Add 1 qt. of water to stew meat. Drop in carrots and potatoes. Season with kitchen bouquet, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Flatten dough into a circle. Hold in hand and cut pieces of dough with kitchen scissors, dropping in boiling stew. Continue to simmer hard until water boils down into a gravy stew.
