2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
Warm water
1/2 lb. hamburger
Small onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
2 T. butter
1 c. cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, eggs, salt and enough warm water to make a soft dough. Roll out into a large rectangle. Cut into 2.5-inch squares. Mix hamburger, onion, salt and pepper in small bowl. Drop 1 tsp. of raw hamburger mix into each square. Fold over in triangles. Press tightly. Boil 10-12 minutes. Drain. Melt butter in pan on stove. Drop fleischknephla into pan. Add cream, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until cream stiffens. May fry fleischknephla in fry pan with butter instead.

For kaseknoephla, use 1 carton dry curd cottage cheese instead of hamburger filling.
