Water
4 tbsp. pickling spice
Soup meat (any kind of meat)
4 cloves garlic, minced
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
3 (8 oz. each) cans tomato sauce
1 head cabbage
1 loaf French bread
Fresh mint (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into chunks and let soak overnight with onions in burgundy wine. Add beef base, black pepper, garlic powder, garlic salt and cinnamon. Put pickling spice in seasoning bag or knee-high stocking and drop into pot. Add water and let boil on low heat for four to five hours. Add quartered cabbage after three hours. Add mint and ketchup one hour before serving. Serve over stale French bread.
