2 cups flour
1 tsp soda
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1 cup Coca-Cola
3 T cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups small marshmallows
Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 T cocoa
6 T Coca-Cola
1 box confectioner's sugar
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Mix flour, soda and sugar; set aside. Heat butter, Coca-Cola and cocoa over medium heat to boiling point. Pour over flour mixture and stir. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and marshmallows.Batter will be thin. Bake in well greased 3-qt Pyrex dish (13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches) Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.

Cook butter, cocoa and Coca-Cola; bring to a boiling point over medium heat. Pour over sugar and mix well. Add pecans and vanilla. Ice cake while warm in the pan. Variation: Substitute 1/2 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of oil for the 2 sticks of butter.
