4-5 chicken breasts cubed and cooked (amounts listed are for a big family, adjust as needed)
1-2 cans of cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup milk
2-3 cups orange chow mein noodles
4 cups cooked rice

Toppings may include:Slivered almonds, coconut, crushed pineapple, cucumbers, tomatoes,chopped maraschino cherries, celery , shredded cheddar cheese and so on as desired.

Directions:
Fry up cubed chicken pieces, seasoning with a few shakes of season salt.
Add milk and soup to saucepan and heat.
Cook rice .
Assemble haystacks as desired, usually starting with rice, chow mein noodles, chicken pieces, toppings and then soup sauce.
