6 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
2 pie shells
114 oz sweetened condensed milk
1/2 pint whipping creams

Meringue
6 egg whites
//2 tsp cream of tarter
5 Tbsp (1/3 of a cup) sugar

Directions:

Combine beaten egg yolks with condensed milk, mix well. Add lime juice and blend., Fold in the cream, which you have whipped. Divide between the two baked and cooled 8 or 8 inch pie shells.

For the meringue, beat the egg whites with the cream of tarter to soft peaks, adding the sugar gradually when it begins to stiffen. Beat to stiff peaks.
Swirl this on top of the pies, making soft peaks and sealing to the edges of crusts. Bake at 325º until it is pale honey colored., about 10 minutes.
Cool and serve.
