1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 pinch of salt
5 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
In a large bowl, beat together butter, sugar and salt.
Beat in the eggs.
Add milk and vanilla, stir to mix.
Pour into pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in preheated oven 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean).
