Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 c butter (1 stick) softened, unsalted
1/2 c crisco
3-4 c powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
1-2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
cream butter and crisco - high speed
add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time
with each addition, blend and then run mixer at highest speed for 10 seconds. You can add 3 or 4 cups powedered sugar, your choice. I generally choose 3 cups but 4 cups will give you a sweeter taste.
After all powdered sugar is incorporated add salt and vanilla.
Add heaving whipping cream. Add 1 tbsp at a time, again you can choose how creamy you want your frosting.
Mix at medium speed for a bit. The longer you whip the more volume you create.
Recipe can be doubled with great results.
