2 qts. water
4 1/2 c. wide egg noodles
1 lb. beef stew
1/4 c. onions, finely chopped
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 T. sour cream

Directions:
In large skillet, brown meat with onion. Add mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until mixture is thick. Reduce heat. Stir in sour cream. Serve over cooked noodles.
