1 and 1/2 pounds carrots, scraped and peeled.
3/4 tsp salt
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
3 Tbsp butter







Directions:
Directions:
Carrots may be left whole, cut in half or sliced diagonally.
Arrange in a casserole (like a 9 inch square glass baking dish. or one with a tight cover.). Cover with foil if no cover to pan.

Sprinkle with salt and sugar, dot with butter. (Notice there is no water needed).
Bake at 325º for 45 minutes or a shorter time if cut or sliced.

This is a very easy vegetable and delicious. Can be reheated gently or eaten cold as a leftover.
